The Student Recreation Center was the second phase of a master plan to create a campus center for a large commuting student population. This facility was designed in conjunction with the parking deck to provide parking adjacent to food service and recreation, while also being centrally located near on-campus housing. The building consists of a multi-sport complex located on the second floor which includes three basketball courts with retractable goals, three volleyball courts with retractable nets, six badminton courts, and a court-level walking track. On the first floor is a long with a kitchen and dining facilities, and an aerobics room is located on the third floor.
